The 9th monthly Sparky project and donate report of 2022:
– Linux kernel updated up to 5.19.12 & 5.15.71-LTS & 4.9.330-LTS49
– Added to repos: amberol, iron arm64
– New ‘sparky7-theme’ which features a light and a dark GTK2/3/4 theme
– Updated ‘sparky5-lxqt-theme’ which features additional dark theme
– Rebuilt RadioStation with new deps, for Sparky 6+7 amd64, i386, armhf & arm64
– New ‘sddm-theme2-sparky’ to SDDM session/login manager of Sparky 7
– ‘sparky-upgrade’ can be launched as a shorter command now: ‘spu’ (SParkyUpgrade)
– added a new LTS kernel to repos: 4.9.x amd64, which can be install via ‘linux-image-sparky-lts49-amd64’ meta package or via APTus-> System-> Kernels-> Sparky kernels tool
Anyway, a RaspberryPi 3 or 4 or newer which can boot arm64 OS is required, to make sure it works fine (build in progress).
So, if you have such device you don’t need any more, let me know that and send me it out, please.

I really like this project
Unfortunately Sparky Linux is not too much famous in the GNU/Linux community
I found out this distro for a recommendation in Telegram
I installed in my old PC (the PC was bought in 2011)
I decided to try Sparky Linux XFCE and really love it
But I improve the appearance of Sparky Linux XFCE with Twister UI and have the appearance of Sparky Linux XFCE like Windows 7
I’ll try support this project with donations every month
