Donate

Donate As you probably know, SparkyLinux is a no-profit project.
It means we don’t sell anything so we don’t earn the money.

But…
The work we make with Sparky and on our forums takes a lot of time.
The fact is nobody pay us for that, we do that for free because we like it and we will be doing that as long as possible.

But…
We have to pay bills for domains, our server, electricity, broadband, equipment, etc…

So consider sending us a donation to help us keeping SparkyLinux project alive.
Without that we will put all our toys to a box and we will shut it down.

You can send out your tip in a few ways.

  1. Hey there,
I just wanted to say thank you for creating sparky. My wife and I stream from a tiny house in Canada and our desktop mobo gave out and sparky is the only distro that has what I want and not what i dont need. We dont have much but wanted to give a small donation.
    Thanks again and take care!

  2. Hi Pawel,

I tried to donate, but PayPal went off in a loop demanding that I logged into my PayPal account.

    I don’t have a PayPal account.

I tried to make a credit card payment, but PayPal will not allow that.

    I’ll try again later.

    I’ll

  3. I want to donate but those are services that are not applicable to me. Can you just offer a way to use a debit card directly?

  4. On this Lenovo ThinkBook w/ 2oGB RAM & 500GB drive, nothing worked as flawlessly as Sparky. I always do the minCLI install then add Xorg and your JWM desktop.
I was floored how well Sparky automatically set up the Uefi joint boot with the pre=installed Windows 11. It installed right into the vfat partition that had the Windows 11 on it.
Great work. I sent you a donation vis PayPal … adding in the 2.9% on top.
Be well & keep up the great work!

  5. I have started using Sparky today, it’s just what I have been looking for. A debian based distribution on the testing branch. I made a small donation and will make more when I can.

  6. Just installed Sparky in a VM and was favorably impressed. Saw your plea for funds and it touched my heart. I just sent you a small amount of Bitcoin (wish it could be more). Hope Jesus blesses you and your family this Christmas season.

  7. I tried to made you a small donation using the debit card over PayPal (without account) and I got an error.
I used like this before with other websites and was working.
Please check your PayPal and the token URL or whatever to be sure that all is good.
I hope that you will start to receive more donations.
I was in a bad situation in my life and Evan now I am still struggling with money from time to time but I hope that if we are helping one with other we may survive and go to succeed.
Do not quit at your dreams.
I will try again this days.
    Best regards,
    Flo

  8. Hi Team Sparky,

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for this distro. Sparky XFCE is by far my favorite distro out of every one I have tried and will definitely be my primary OS. Also, thank you for making it easy to donate to you. All the best with your continued work on this project

  10. Sparky Linux is the only distro of several which I have tried which actually works fully with my Toshiba L875D-S7332 laptop computer. Other distros which I have tried lose contact with the keyboard so that it becomes non-functional either at bootup or in the midst of use of an application. Apparently that is a common problem with Toshibas on which other varieties of Linux have been installed.

Please make donations in cryptocurrency. Not everyone has the opportunity to pay by bank account or PayPal
