There is a new desktop available for Sparkers: Openbox Noir.
What is Openbox Noir?
Openbox Noir is a variant of the Openbox, which provides dark and modern looks and feel of a lightweight desktop. It features, on the top of a standard Openbox window manager, customized applications and tools such as: dark theme, dark wallpaper, dark icon set, Plank bar with dark theme, Tint2 panel, jgmenu, etc.
The Openbox Noir desktop is configured and set by Sparky team member lami07
Installation with all the Noir settings:
sudo apt update
sudo apt full-upgrade
Then run APTus-> Desktop-> Openbox Noir.
After the installation is finished, reboot to take effects, and login to the Openbox desktop.
Make sure the installation will change your installed desktops settings to the Noir.
It is available to Sparky 5 and rolling, not to oldstable.
Please test the new desktop and report your suggestions, issues, and anything else at our forums, please.
If everything goes well, means no issues, the Openbox Noir will be added to the Minimal ISO installer as well.
