I have been busy whole last week fighting with new Sparky iso images, but all done so could build new kernel packages now.
The latest stable version of Linux kernel 4.7.1 just landed in Sparky “unstable” repository.
Make sure you have Sparky “unstable” repository https://sparkylinux.org/wiki/doku.php/repository active to upgrade or install the latest kernel.
sudo apt-get install linux-image-sparky-amd64686 non-pae:
sudo apt-get install linux-image-sparky-686686-pae:
sudo apt-get install linux-image-sparky-686-pae
Then reboot your machine to take effects.
To quick remove older version of the Linux kernel, simply run APTus-> Remove-> Uninstall Old Kernel script.
