2 simple questions [SOLVED]
« on: August 14, 2017, 10:38:00 pm »
Hi to all.
2 simple questions:

1-How to change grub background / text color in sparky? I tried to modify grub.conf also 05_debian_theme file but no result.
2-Each time I boot Sparky, my keyboard changes to US. How can i set another one keyboard layout as default in boot? ( I use LDM  for my XFCE)

Thanks in advance.

Fantastic tutorial HOWTO change backround and text color in grub
Code: [Select]
http://www.thegeekstuff.com/2012/10/grub-splash-image/but..seems that the only way to change grub background is replacing of
Code: [Select]
/opt/artwork/sparky-grub.png by your preferred file. The way to change text color is adding of changing_color_text_lines (as described in above tutorial) under section
Code: [Select]
if background_image /opt/artwork/sparky-grub.png; then in file
Code: [Select]
/boot/grub/grub.cfg.If it is necessary you need to add the same lines in the file
Code: [Select]
/etc/grub.d/07_sparky_theme under line
Code: [Select]
if [ -z "${2}" ] && [ -z "${3}" ]; thenHope it helps.
