The OpenToonz 1.1 package is available in our repository.

Toonz is a 2D animation software developed and marketed by Digital Video S.p.A. … Toonz is used by many studios worldwide including Studio Ghibli and Rough Draft Studios.
On March 19, 2016 it was announced that Toonz will be released as Free and open source software in a week. The source code of “OpenToonz” was released under BSD license to a GitHub repository on March 26, 2016.
Installation:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install opentoonz
There is only binary package available in this moment, due to problems with building from source.
