WiFi not working
« on: April 27, 2016, 05:28:01 pm »
Hi guys, I just downloaded sparkylinux game over edition and it's great but I just can't seem to make my wifi work. I just ran a grep and this is what I got but still can't see my card on the network settings
00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82579V Gigabit Network Connection (rev 05)
03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1030 [Rainbow Peak] (rev 34)

Any help will be appreciated.

Check do you have the 'firmware-iwlwifi' package installed.
Install if not; if yes, try to load the module manually:
Code: [Select]
sudo modprobe -r iwlwifi
sudo modprobe iwlwifi
Nothing is easy as it looks. Danielle Steel
